Hypnotherapy for phobias is a quick and effective way of resolving your fears and combatting your phobias.

Living with a phobia can be exhausting. Having to adapt, mould and carefully manage an area of your life around something you can not tolerate can have a huge impact on the way you live your life, as well as a drain on your physical and mental energy.

Some people can successfully resolve their phobias in just one hypnotherapy session, for others it may take a few sessions. It largely depends on how open to hypnosis a person is and how willing they are to 100% engage in the process. Some people need a little time to build up their trust in hypnosis or the therapist and allow themselves to fully engage, everyone is different and everyone is treated with compassion and sensitivity

People generally see me for three sessions. An example treatment plan would look like this:

1st Session – Understanding your phobia

I use this session to gain as much information as I can to understand your phobia, when it started, your experience, how it affects your life, how it makes you feel etc. We will also introduce you to hypnosis, as I gently guide you into a relaxed hypnotic trance

2nd Session – Rewind

I introduce you to a technique called rewind, as well as anchoring and relaxation techniques

3rd Session – Re-patterning

The aim of this final session is to cement more rational thoughts and a manageable response, ensuring the phobia is eliminated forever.
